Back and Forth, and Breakfast
In earlier posts I've uploaded video of the birds that flock west every evening at sundown, but not their early morning flight east. I caught them on camera this morning, so here's a combined video of them going both ways. The first segment is evening and the second early morning.
A restaurant called Bistro Soleiado (how often do you see three vowels in a row?) is about a fifteen minute walk away and has a reputation for exquisite eggs benedict. We finally went this morning to see what all the fuss was about.
As we were leaving the building we met a brother and sister also staying here. A man who has been studying with JWs for a while had driven them home from their own breakfast out, and since he was going that way he offered to drive us to the Soleiado.
We learned originally he had been approached by JWs offering to show him a 3-minute video on a tablet, "Why Study The Bible?" It moved him to begin studying and his wife started studying too. His love for what he's learning is evident and it was a pleasure to spend a little time with him.
At the Bistro we suspected a Montrealer might have had something to do with starting up this place. In photos of the menu below you will notice a "Montreal Special" and "Quebec Baked Beans."
But we refrained from all that and ordered the famous eggs benedict. Carol took a photo of her plate. (Mine looked identical.) Served with bacon on an English muffin with a side of hash browns along with toast and a variety of jams. The coffee was excellent too. By the way, the "$" on the menu refers to pesos, not dollars.
Walking back to our condo we passed this photo-worthy vehicle ...
Our bags are mostly packed. One day left. Our time here has passed by so swiftly.
They do this back and forth every single day.

Meme avec le sirop d'érable!
Passe moi les feves au lard s'il te plait!
"Delicious!" would be an understatement.
Next time we'll have to rent one of these.
